Commercial Dance prepares movement for a stage, video or another artist project. The teacher chooses the music and techniques, so read the programme before booking.

Ask to see one phrase without a camera, then with a clear gaze toward it. Notice how movement size and the ending change. The teacher can explain footwork, group positions and what the viewer should see as separate tasks.
Find out which dance foundations the class uses and whether filming is optional. One class may draw on jazz lines, another on hip-hop rhythm or pop choreography. In a first lesson, perform one short part clearly and understand its musical purpose.
